A people-ops dashboard that buries the signal
HR leads open the dashboard many times a day for a quick read on their team. The original layout treated every metric as equally important, so the daily glance became a hunt.

What made it noisy
The first build struggled because it:

Non-technical HR staff spent more time orienting than acting.
Solution
A calm hierarchy that answers the daily question first
A focused top band answers “what needs me today?”, with denser data tucked one layer down — so the common case is a glance and the rare case is still one click away.
